She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Minnie Bagby Hughes; her husband Howard "De" Spurlock; her grandson Christopher DeForest Stinespring; and her siblings, Carl, Ronald Hughes, Vivian Hughes, Hazel Brown and Phyllis Vincent.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Spurlock Stinespring (Charter) and Howard D Spurlock II (Amy); and her grandchildren, Ashley Stinespring Harris (Nathan), Lauren Stinespring Mattingly (Varian), H. D. Spurlock III, Ty Spurlock and Rylee Spurlock. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davis Funeral Home West Union (212 Front St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
