She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bender and Audra Henderson Bender; her children, Carl Curtis Jr., Walter "Doug" Curtis, Hurley Curtis and Marie Bishop Reel; her siblings, Harold Bender, Olladean Stewart and Ina Bender; and her great grandchild Hannah Cook.
She is survived by: her brother Roger Bender (Wilma) of Bowie, MD; her grandchildren, Greg, Chris, Bryon, Joseph, Jason, Jennifer, Bradley, Julie, Nerissa, Stephanie, Kevin, Tony, Matthew, Ann, Tiffany, Kaylin and Cassandra; and her sister Evelyn Rogers. She is also survived by grandkids and 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
