She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Floyd Yoak and Elizabeth Hawley Yoak; her former life partner Jimmy Larry Wyatt; her husband Dr. Billie Getson Meese; and her sisters, Elizabeth Hounshell, Peggy Wallace, Jean Haley, June Martin and Rayma Lou McKelvie.

She is survived by : her children, Rebecca (Mark), Ruth Lyn (Jim), Cindy (Ken), Kip (Denise) and Mark (Carol); her grandchildren, Lowell, Evey, Katie, Emily and Logan-Halle; and her great grandchild Britta.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew United Methodist Church (120 E 3rd St, Weston, WV 26452). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Matthew Methodist Church (120 E 3rd St, Weston, WV 26452).

In lieu of flowers, Jackie would have wanted donations made to St. Matthew's general fund E 3rd Street Weston, WV 26452.
