It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Bruffey of Weston, West Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elwood Wilson Bruffey and Oleta Ellen Francis Bruffey; his close friend Margaret Star; and the mother of his children Geneva Bruffey. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Bruffey of Parkersburg and Melony Hardman of Parkersburg; his grandsons, Justin of Parkersburg and Jeremy Hardman (Yue) of Parkersburg; his great grandchild Levi Hardman; his brother Michael "Mike" Bruffey of Weston; his sibling's children, Holly Knox (Jay) and Matthew Bruffey (Branda) of Weston; and his great-nephew Emmett Bruffey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service (144 Hackers Creek Rd, Jane Lew, WV 26378). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
