He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen White (late Lee White); his grandchildren, Kylene Setzer (Brad), Kelsey Ambrose (Brandon), Kerbey Lyon (Dylan), Jodi Masters (Rocky), Savannah Alderson (Carson) and Regan Minney; his great grandchildren, Kaplan, Logan, Baron, Sadie Ambrose, Jayden, Alexander, Keegan, Tesher, Aaron Lyon, Kenley Chapman and Kaci Masters; his parents, Homer B. Goodwin and Maysel (Waldeck); his stepfather Raymond McCartney; and his siblings, Nellie Alderman, Ralph Goodwin and Ronald Wilmouth.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Goodwin (Lipps); his children, Johnny Goodwin (Barb Harter), Lisa Minney (James) and Sharon Chapman (Mark Clarke); and his siblings, Lawrence Goodwin, Delane McDaniel and Linda Sue Knight. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
