He was predeceased by : his parents, Hayward Murcus Somerville and Roena Gale Maxon Somerville; and his siblings, Ruby Somerville of Parkersburg, Mary Wilda Bush of Bridgeport, Hayward Kline Somerville of Linn, Ronzel Somerville of Bridgeport and Larry Duley of Lancaster, OH..
He is survived by : his wife Brenda Somerville (Bailey); his children, Claudia Diane Doss (Dwaine D. Doss) and Rodney David Somerville (Juile Lynn Somerville) of Jane Lew; his grandchildren, Jodi R. Steadman, Richard Ratliff, Stephanie Somerville, Michael Starr, Katy Somerville, Megan Somerville and William Cole Doss; his stepgrandchildren, Heather McClendon and Lyndsey Wilson; his great grandchildren, Lena Frymier, Elijan Martin, MacKenzie Martin, Briar Steadman, John Ratliff and Audrey Ratliff; and his stepgreat-grandchild Eden Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
