He was predeceased by : his parents, Ercil E. Gould and Wanda L. Heckert Gould Adams; and his stepfather Ace Adams. He is survived by : his wife Janet Gould; his sons, Stephen Gould (Stacy) of Weston and Douglas Gould (Priscilla) of Weston; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, Jared and Andrew Gould; his great grandchild Val Axton; his siblings, Leann Kerns (Tim) of Jane Lew and Stephen Montgomery (Judy) of Mims, FL; his nieces, Carri Madison (John), Tracy Jones (Chris) and Chelsea Abruzzino (Tucker); and his nephew Ryan Kerns.
