He was predeceased by: his wife Judy C. Lewis (Manners); and his brother Clifford Lewis. He is survived by: his parents, Arnold Leroy Lewis and Florence Hazel Lewis (Hobba); his children, Robin Wallace (Maury) of Jacksonville, NC, Marsha Moody (Jeff) of Gastonia, NC, Melinda Abernathy (Josh) of Wasilla, AK, Thomas Lewis of Leon, WV, Greg Lewis (Cindy) of Verona, KY, James Lewis (Amy) of Leon, WV and Martin Lewis (Donell) of Weston, WV; and his daughter-in-law Judy. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents.
