We are sad to announce that, on May 17, 2025, at the age of 81, Sara Catherine Murray of Weston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sara Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Garton and Brenice Marie Stark Garton. She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Thomas Murray; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Rittenhouse of Jane Lew, Roberta Garton of Weston, George Garton (Jennifer) of Rio Rancho, NM and James Garton of Albuquerque, NM.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sara's memory to St. Patrick School, 224 Center Ave., Weston, WV 26452.
