He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Johnson and Ruth Johnson; his wife Nancy; his fiancée Mary White; and his brothers, Roy, Roger, Venzel and Arthur.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Lynn), Jenny McDaniel, Cherise Zeider (Chris) and Katrina Fleming; his grandchildren, Evan, Berit Johnson, Jackson, Seth McDaniel, Hayden, Alexandra Starcher, Annaliea, Annika Fleming and Sakai Rodriguez; his niece Cynthia Johnson Lindsay; his great-niece Samantha; and his grandson Archer.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Smith Funeral & Cremation Care (108 Holland Ave, Westover, WV 26501).
