It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Henry Wolford of Wharncliffe, West Virginia, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Wolford and Shirley Wolford (Hopson); his son Carl Henry Wolford Jr.; his significant other Wanda Hurley; his sisters, Sharon Brewer, Nina Hatfield and Jenny Daniels; his niece Kimberly Breeding; and his nephew Chris Wolford.
He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Hurley of Wharncliffe, WV and Gregory Wolford of Ragland, WV; his heart Kayla Ellis (Lee); his siblings, Theodore Wolford (Lori) of Gilbert, WV, Bonnie Gilkerson (Bill) of Wharncliffe, WV. and Rita Cline of Wharncliffe, WV.; and also, Bryson and Kayson Ellis of Wharncliffe, WV. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mounts Funeral Home Chapel Mounts Funeral Home (253 4th Ave, Gilbert, WV 25621). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
