She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Shutler and Vivian Shutler; her sister Julie Shutler; her father-in-law Sam Vannest; and her sister-in-law Robin Walters.
She is survived by: her husband Brad "Buck" Vannest; her sons, Brady Vannest, Sean Vannest (Kayla) and Alex Vannest (Allie); her grandchildren, Leighton, Maverick, Preston, Adalynn and Audra; and her siblings, Jean McKenzie of Travelers Rest, SC, Cathy Sword (Mel) of Bruceton Mills, WV, Susan Coffey (Jerry) of Hendersonville, TN, Joe Shutler (Becky) of Snoqualmie, WA, Tim Shutler (Lisa) of Mooresville, NC and Eugene Shutler (Carolin) of Buckhannon, WV.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who she loved as her own children and a circle of friends.
