He was predeceased by: his father Harry B. VanDyne; and his aunt Eleanor Nolte Merinar. He is survived by: his mother Mary Nolte VanDyne; his daughter Kylee Boyd (Josh); his siblings, Carol Merinar (Stanley), Cindy VanDyne, Jill Flanagan (Jay), Julie Bondurant and Eric VanDyne; and his grandsons, Jace and Beau Boyd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
