She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaf Saar and Elfriede Saar (Ohlrogge); her husband Lloyd F. Cottrell; her grandparents, Johann and Frieda Ohlrogge (Von Haefen); and her brother Robert Saar.
She is survived by: her sons, Lloyd Anthony "Tony" Cottrell (Brenda) and Alexander "Alex" Scott Cottrell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
