With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Dougherty of Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dougherty and Naomi Dougherty (Oliver); and his brothers, Ray, Wayne and Fred.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Dougherty; his children, Lori Dougherty of Wheeling, WV, Heidi Nickischer (Dan) of Douglassville, PA and Rick Dougherty (Michelle) of Washington, PA; his grandchildren, Alexa Nickischer and Colin Dougherty; his siblings, Frank Dougherty (Mary Ann), David Dougherty (Max), Jim Dougherty (Sue), Larry Dougherty (Leslie) and Sharon Westfall (Lairl); and his sisters-in-law, Karen and Lois Jean. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
