It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Shivlin (Wheeling, West Virginia), who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Angela Purpura and Vincent P. Purpura of Wheeling; her husband William F. Shivlin; her son Dr. William J. Shivlin; her sister Jo Ann Pappa Smith; her nephew Mark V. Pappa; and her great-nephew Vinnie T. Pappa.
She is survived by: her sisters, Teresa "Terrie" Schmitt (Ed) of Wheeling and Karen S. Morris of Wheeling; her daughter-in-law Patricia "Trish" Shivlin of Wilmington, NC; her nephews, Edward Schmitt Jr. (Michelle) of Berea and Dr. Bradley Schmitt (Karen) of Wheeling; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Isaac Schmitt, Mason Schmitt of Wheeling, Madelyn Schmitt, Emily of Berea Ohio, Kendall, Tenley Schmitt of Wheeling and Katie Pappa Cornforth (John) of Cincinnati, Ohio..
