In loving memory of Harry V. Yahn III (Wheeling, West Virginia), who departed this world on October 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Harry leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry V. Yahn, Jr. and Ruth Ann Yahn (Stenger); and his grandson Adam Barbour. He is survived by: his wife Judith Yahn (Cunningham); his daughter Cindy Yahn-Lewis; his grandchildren, Brendan Barbour, Chelsea Kovalcik and Ethan Lewis; and his children, Diane (Kevin), Mary, David, Sarah, Leah and Anna Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Elm Grove Chapel (154 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV 26003). A vigil service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (2244 Marshall Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003). An entombment will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1685 National Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be directed to an animal charity or organization of personal choice in Harry's honor.
