He was predeceased by: his wife Gevevieve Parker (Dunlap); and his sisters, Enola Riggs, Pauline Kleyman and Josephine Mitchem. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Dennis Payton, Rev. Terry Endsley, Richard Payton, Michael Payton, Jerry Endsley, Debbie Lufft and Eveline Dami.
