It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hubert Trischler (Wheeling, West Virginia), who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Trischler and Marie Trischler (Neidert); and his siblings, Joseph E., Gerald, Maurice, Richard Trischler, Dolores, Dorothy Bischof and Irene Trischler.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Trischler; his children, Melissa I. Huff (Joseph) of Wheeling, WV and Brian D. Trischler of Canonsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Ryan Huff (McKenna Gump), Megan Huff, Brendan Trischler and Mark Trischler; his siblings, Dennis Trischler of Woodbridge, VA, Jeanette Terretti of Wheeling, WV and Marlene Trischler of Wheeling, WV; and his brother-in-law William E. Sweitzer (Barbara) of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Elm Grove Chapel (154 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV 26003). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (2244 Marshall Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003).
