Jack Blackwell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Blackwell of Wheeling, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Blackwell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Blackwell and Grace Blackwell (Damsel); and his sister Patti Krupinski. He is survived by: his wife Sandi Blackwell (Rycerz); his children, Jonathan Blackwell (Bethany) and Jessie Lucas (Doug); his brother Bob Blackwell (Jan); and his grandchildren, Dougie (Abby), Evelyn, Daykota, Aubrey, Chance, Josie, Asher, Elias, Joel, Justin and Briella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Elm Grove Chapel (154 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV 26003). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1685 National Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003).
