He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rager and Laura Rager (Tweedy); and his siblings, Shirley Polen, Shelvey Rogers, Ralph, Melvin, Robert, Wayne and Marvin Rager.
He is survived by: his daughter Trista Parsons; his sister Darlene Rager; and his friends, Kenny Jackson and Jennifer Boyd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
