With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Purpura (Wheeling, West Virginia), who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Purpura and Dorothy Purpura (Helms). He is survived by: his stepmother Mary Purpura (Davis); his cousins, Rosalie Davis, Joan Mazur and Frank Purpura; and also, Bob, Jody McAdams, Basil, Joyce Ellis, John Lovejoy, Dorris Papadopoulos and Scott Harkness.
