He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Vincent Burke and Elizabeth Greene Burke; and his siblings, Walter, Thomas, Buck, Jack, Robert Burke and Mary Ann Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Rusty Burke (Amy) of Centreville, VA and Kerri Hadeed (Kareem) of Sterling, VA.; his grandchildren, Macie Hadeed, Ruthie Burke, Ryan Hadeed and Patrick Burke; and his sisters, Dorothy Winiesdorffer and Elanor O'Toole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home - Elm Grove Chapel (154 Kruger St, Wheeling, WV 26003). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (2244 Marshall Ave, Wheeling, WV 26003). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:30 PM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery (1685 National Rd, Wheeling, WV 26003).
