Mercer and Della Mae Mercer (Grimm); her siblings, William Mercer, Charles Mercer, Harriett Anderson, Betty Loges, Ruby Foster, Helen Mercer, Rebecca Foreigner, Virginia Pelkey and Mary Margaret Guenther; her close friend George Forrester; and her daughter Sharon West.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Schmitt (William), Michelle Norris (Joel), George Mercer, Kim Currence (Brent) and Daniel Mercer (Janet). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
