It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Anthony Matyja of Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Matyja and Julia Matyja (Shemon); his brother Richard Matyja; his sister-in-law Ginny Matyja; and his niece Lisa Kolibash.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michaeline (David Hille) of Vermilion, OH, Victoria Coyne (James) of Bluffton, SC, Rose Kolibash (Albert) of Powell, OH and Frank Matyja of Akron, OH.
