With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ola Joanne Gorby (Wheeling, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2026 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ola's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ola has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Gorby; her grandparents, Mary Lou, William Willison, Wanda and Arthur Gorby; and her grandson Hunter Summers.
She is survived by: her mother Donna Gorby (Neer); her children, Ashley Gorby, Jonathan Gorby, Wanda Gorby and Brittany Lohr; and her siblings, Donna Gorby, Tommy Gorby and Mary Watts. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
