With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip A. Shaughnessy (Wheeling, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2026 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Shaughnessy and Edith Shaughnessy (Barr); his wife Peggy; and his sister Jean May. He is survived by: his children, Colleen Kay Polley (Charles), Kathleen Ann Allen (Jeffrey) and Michael Shaughnessy; and his granddaughter Gabrielle Allen (Joshua DelVillar).
