She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carl and Laura Carl (Bohlman); and her siblings, Edna Carl, Evelyn Frazier (Harry), Richard Carl, Sr. (Stella), Robert B. Carl, Robert M. Smith, Lawrence Malson and John Geary.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Timothy McDonough (Cary), Richard English (Christy), Dot English, Cheryl Melnik (George), Rob Smith, Cindy Usenick (Dennis) and Matthew Smith (Susan); her sister-in-law Dolores "Doty" Carl; and her stepgrandchildren, Ian English (Kaylie), James English, Lisa Melnik, Cortne Pierce (Andrew), Trevor Smith, Kent Smith, Ashley Stover (John) and Meleah Wood. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
