He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Newsom and Thelma Newsom (Price); and his siblings, Linda Newsom Berry and Oliver Newsom. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Newsom; his children, Richard, Eric, Shanell and Kristen; his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Newsom, Chuck Newsom and Alicia Newsom; and his uncle Harold Price (Cora). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
