With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robyn Elizabeth Gail Hammond of Wheeling, West Virginia, born in Edmonton, Alberta, who passed away on April 16, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beverly Kay Smith and Dr. David H. Smith of Canada; and her sister Beverly Jill Anita Smith of Wheeling. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Hammond (Kimberly Corante) of New Mexico, Andrew Hammond (Brittney) of Wheeling and David S. Hammond of Columbus; and her siblings, Scott Smith (Holli) of Wheeling, Lisa Smith of Wheeling, Pamela Smith of Durango, Colorado, Duane Smith of Arcata, CA and Sean Smith of Arlington, VA..
Donations may be made in Robyn's memory to the Blanchette Rockefeller Neurosciences Institute for Alzheimers Research at WVU, Catholic Charities of West Virginia, and the National Audubon Society.
