She was predeceased by: her brother Robert Edward Purinton; and her husband John T. "Jack" Dorsey Jr.. She is survived by: her son J. Thomas Dorsey, III (Lou Ann); her grandchildren, Johanna, Jay (Claire) and Scott; her son Timothy E. Dorsey (Carla); her grandsons, Jonathan and Joseph (Sarah); her son Anthony Dorsey (Laura); her grandson Justin Kropka (Trina); her great grandchildren, Campbell, Colby and Jennifer; and her sister-in-law Mary Clara Lambert (Jim). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wheeling Oglebay Tennis Club, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, WV 26003.
