She was predeceased by: her parents, Boone Lilly and Lemma Lilly; her husband Robert Underwood; her sons, Larry and Michael Staton; and her brother Marvin Lilly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Lilly (Butch) of Ghent and Laura Baxter of Henrico; her sisters, Lynn Conner (Wayne) of Ghent, WV. and Gloria Barber (Jack) of Ghent, WV.; and her family, Nanette Roark, Janie Morris and Judy Richards. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Bower Hospice House in Melba's memory.
