With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Neal Vance of Whitmer, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 57. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Neal Vance to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard David Vance and Olivia Faye Montoney Vance. He is survived by: his brothers, Terry Allen Vance of Whitmer and Paul Eugene Vance (Denise); his niece Jennifer Miller of Cabins; his sisters, Cindy Lucille Sponaugle (Leonard) of Whitmer and Kathy Christine Ketterman-Watson (Roger) of Belington; his nephews, Anthony Sponaugle, Joshua Vance, Zachary Ketterman and Bryan Vance; his great-nephews, Lance Adamson and Dustin Sponaugle; his niece Andrea Adamson; his great-niece Emily Sponaugle; and his partner Kelsey Jeffries. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home - Elkins (120 1st St, Elkins, WV 26241). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
