We are sad to announce that on May 19, 2025, at the age of 72, Richard Lee Mace of Wileyville, West Virginia, born in Centralia, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Gene and Nellie Irene Ware Mace; his brothers, Randy and Robin Mace; his close friend Carol Longwell; and his great grandchild Levi Cole Blake.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Mace (April), Sheila Mayse (Nathan) and Lisa Wharton (Bill); his stepchildren, Billie Newman, Becky Longwell and Betsy Longwell; his sisters, Judy Sloan, Jueneta McIe, Patricia Mace, Doris Mace and Vernila Steele; and his pet Jagger. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Palmer Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
