We announce the death of Debra Elaine Winfrey of Williamsburg, West Virginia, who passed away on September 1, 2026, at the age of 75. Debra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Delphia Mae Vance of Boone County, WV.; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Stacy Lambert (Tucker); her stepchildren, Sherry Winfrey and John Winfrey; her siblings, Robert Vance, David Vance, Robbie Oshinsky, Francis Bishop and Mary Kersey; and her nieces, Trish Kersey and Marie Dolan.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde M. Winfey; her siblings, James Vance (Sonny), Joe Vance, Richard Vance, Bessie Bittinger, Dorothy Lambert and Karen Bishop; her children, Freddie Joe Lambert (Laura) and Tucker Lambert (Charity); her grandchildren, Kayla Worley (Eddie), Courtney Slavensky, Heather Cornette (Joseph), Gabby Lambert, Danielle Duncan, Preston Lambert, Tucker Lambert and Miley Lambert; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Ariea, Rip Worley, Aubrie, Laynie Cornette, Hadleigh and Raylee Slavensky; and her nephew Larry Lambert. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (252 Montvue Dr, Lewisburg, WV 24901). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
