It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Fitzpatrick of Williamson, West Virginia, born in South Williamson, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Joann Fitzpatrick; his wife Deborah Fitzpatrick; his brother Leon Fitzpatrick (Kim Fitzpatrick); his nephew Benjamin Fitzpatrick; and his brother-in-law Dale Pennington.

He is survived by : his daughters, Erica Fitzpatrick of Huntington, WV, Candace Jones-Martin of Georgetown, KY and Heather Jones (Josh Staton) of Williamson, WV; his grandchildren, Paisleigh, Liam, Arielle and Ayden; his sisters, Belanda Kirk (Bud) of Kermit, WV, Drema Hutson (Terry) of Gallatin, TN, Angela Fitzpatrick of Kannapolis, NC and Marlena Fitzpatrick of Fayetteville, NC; his nieces and nephews, Tyler Kirk, Trevor Kirk, Tanner Kirk, Dakota Fitzpatrick, Colin Hutson, Deja Pennington, Dylauna Pennington, Angela Hutson, Cody Hutson, Josh Hutson (Jenny) and Susie Fitzpatrick-Marks; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hadley, Hayes Kirk, Abigail and Nicholas Marks.

Walli Conn wrote a sympathy message

“All in my family are heartbroken to learn of Eric's passing! We are sooo sorry. The Fitzpatricks were much loved neighbors of ours in Fairview, and we got to watch their kids grown up into wonderful adults. I was fortunate to have had all of their children and some of their grandkids in school. Eric was always hardworking and very sweet, and he loved his girls soo much! I will keep all of you in my prayers! Love to all of you! Walli Conn”
