He is survived by: his wife Tina Clagg Payne of Scott Depot; his children, Amy Curtiss (Darold) of Hurricane, WV, Jeremy Payne (Valerie) of Winfield, WV and Sara Payne Scarbro (Derek) of Huntington, WV; his grandchildren, Nic Osburn, Tyler Payne, Gabby Osburn, Mason Payne, Seth Potter, Christian Payne, Olivia Payne and Willa Scarbro; his great grandchild Greyson Payne; and his siblings, Donnie Ray Payne (Lorraine) of Bickmore, WV and Patty Kayser (Wayne) of Scott Depot, WV. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
