She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Hester Briscoe; her husband Delmar Sovine; her granddaughter Rikki Jo Cook; and her siblings, Ruth Hinchey, Jimmy, Billy and Dorsel Briscoe.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Sovine of Winfield, WV, Victor Sovine (Tonya) of Winfield, WV, Cathy Cook of Winfield, WV and Gregory Sovine (Carissa) of Winfield, WV. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 7 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, WV 25526). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
