Roger D. Sheets Obituary
We announce the death of Roger D. Sheets (Winfield, West Virginia), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 81. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Allman Sheets and Romie Richard Sheets; his wife Monna Sheets (Booth); his brother Gary Sheets; his in-laws, Oran and Gladys "Pit" Booth; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Booth, Barbara "Bobbie" Magoun, Warren Magoun and Doug Robertson; and his close friend Gary Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jonni Winter (Scott), Ronni Sheets and Kristi Gillispie (Tony); his grandchildren, Whitley, Gavin Winter, Garrett, Nate and Kooper Gillispie; his sisters, Wanda Robertson and Shelia Dent (John); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Booth and Brenda Sheets. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.
