He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson and Elva Watson (Scarberry); his wife Carolyn; his siblings, Phyllis McClanahan, Leo, Henry and Roger Watson; and his siblings-in-law, Maxine Kessler, Lois Brewer, Sally Colwell and Bob Colwell.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Smith (Bob) of Elkview, WV and Rusty Watson (Denise) of Winfield, WV; his grandchildren, Travis Massey (Karen), Tyler Watson (Jenny), Wesley Massey (Jessica) and Courtney Scarberry (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Graham, Sawyer, Harrison, Daniel, Eleanor, Hannah, Banks Massey, Noah, Sam, Jude Watson, Micah and Moriah Scarberry. He is also survived by his family immensely, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
