He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jean Smith (Satterfield) of Worthington; his children, Brenda Mardell Smith Vernon, Jeffery Alan Smith (Michelle) and Bryan Nelson Smith (Kelly Masters); his grandchildren, Amanda Jo Taylor (Matthew), Jessica Smith Green (Clint), Joshua Seth Leonard (Ally), Micheala Smith and Caspian Smith; and his siblings, Kevin Z. Smith, Shannon L. Smith, Vicki R. Carr, Alyce J. Greene, Sherry A. Smith, Joni D. Smith and Shelly Jo Gordon (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
