She was predeceased by: her husband Junior Freeman Chandler; her parents, Everett Smith and Eliza Brumfield Smith; her siblings, James Opal, Ronald Hershall, Arvil, Mary Sampson, Guynith Raper and Myrtle Virginia Dragoo; and her sons-in-law, Harold Bennett, Richard Bowles and Lannie Kidd.
She is survived by: her children, Dorean Bennett, Janet McClure (Dwight), Melinda Bowles, Patty Kidd and Jackie Chandler. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (2097 Childress Rd, Alum Creek, WV 25003). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
