She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Malli and Evelyn Malli; and her siblings, Norma Malli, Charles "Buz" Malli and Riley Malli.

She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, DeeAnn Smith (David) of St. John's and Travis Hakert of Buffalo; her grandchildren, Ty Hakert of Buffalo, Synneva Hakert Richardson (Tyler) of Gillette, Avery Smith and Madelyn Smith of St. John; and her great grandchildren, Markus and Elidi Richardson of Gillette. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
