He is survived by: his parents, Charles Hook and Barbara Hook of Buffalo; his wife Chris Hook of Buffalo; his children, Randy Hook of Buffalo and Vanessa Ragels (Chuck) of Arvada, Wyoming; his siblings, Charlie Hook of Hulett, Wyoming, Deta Duran (Rick) of Douglas and Debi Schroeder (Walt) of Wright, Wyoming; his father-in-law Swede Granstrom of Forsyth, Montana; his daughter Elizabeth Martin; his grandchildren, Matthew, Chantel, Maddison, Wyatt, Kennedy and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Alyeska and Kodiak.
Due to COVID and ill health, he retired in 2023, three months shy of forty years with the City of Buffalo.
