He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Gates and Doris Gates; his brother Mike; and his parents-in-law, Dan and Pat Norcross.
He is survived by: his children, Kaitlyn Allessandra and Adam Keith; his wife Sarah Norcross-Gates; and his daughters, Andrea and Kimberly. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
