He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hendryx and Doris Hendryx (Manning); his siblings, Jim, Ronald Hendryx and Skeeter; and his significant other Laura Cherry.

He is survived by: his brother David Hendryx. He is also survived by eight children and numerous grandchildren.
