Joy Pickett Hampton wrote a sympathy message

“Sorry for your loss and keeping you in prayer for God’s comfort and peace. I loved Elmer and was blessed to know him. I was fortunate to get to see him at Meals on Wheels when I came to town, or at Aunt Dorothy's while there. I was able to see him in August of this year and snap a picture of him and I. Jack and I have many memories of Aunt Dorothy and him visiting us in Arizona and running in to them at the casino in Laughlin, Nv., and Holiday bowl, by accident. Blessings, Joy and Jack”
