He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Holscher and Kathryn Holscher (Hennsey); and his siblings, Tom Holscher, Kathryn Tripeny and Ann O'Keefe.

He is survived by : his wife Helen Theresa McVaney; and his sons, Lou and Jim. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (400 Country Club Rd, Casper, WY 82609). A burial will be held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery (80 Veterans Dr, Evansville, WY 82636).
