He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Politte and Margaret Politte (Lawrence); his wife Vicki Lyn Taylor; and his siblings, Larry and Mary Busse.

He is survived by: his children, Chrysta, Kelly of Casper and Allen (Teresa) of Douglas; his grandchildren, Cody, Shailey of Casper, Justin of Butte, Montana and Connor of Mills; and his brother Michael Busse (Adrienne) of Robertson, WY.
