He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hegdahl; his sister Doukeni Xikes; his children, Chrisa DeGraeve (Bill), Ana Zook (Troy) and Mike Michaels (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Andreas, Gabriel, Ruby, Eve, Leo, Melissa, Kendra, Chriana and George. He is also survived by seven great‑grandchildren.
